Buying Policy

Payment Methods:

Avant Garde Middle East offers multiple payment options, including Credit Card (CC), Cash on Delivery (COD),  Postpay and PayPal, to ensure convenience for customers. However, certain payment methods may not be available for specific destinations, , itemsor users. In cases where credit cards are used, additional personal documents such as passport copies or ID cards may be required to confirm purchases and prevent fraudulent payments.

Delivery Exceptions:

Avant Garde Middle East works with sellers and collectors worldwide to maintain accurate inventory listings. However, there may be instances where items cannot be delivered due to a mismatch in inventory listings. In such cases, Avant Garde Middle East may cancel the order and provide a full refund for paid orders. It's important to note that placing an order does not guarantee delivery of an item. Avant Garde Middle East is not liable for delivery delays due to customs clearances at the destination.

Customs Duties / Taxes:

Avant Garde Middle East ships its products from Dubai, UAE, and almost all countries apply customs duty on imported goods. It's the customer's responsibility to pay the applicable customs duties and provide any requested additional documents during the clearance process. For GCC countries, customs duties are included in the item price, and no additional fees apply. However, for the rest of the world, customs and duties are paid at the time of clearance, and the courier company contacts the buyer for payment.

Cash on Delivery (COD):

COD payment is only available for UAE orders and includes an additional fee of AED 30 (USD 8).

Credit Card Payments:

Avant Garde Middle East accepts payments through all major credit cards, with international transactions converted to AED. However, the actual amount charged may differ based on the bank's exchange rate.

Returns:

Avant Garde Middle East accepts cancellations and returns for selective items within 3 days of delivery. The buyer is responsible for return fees and the company is responsible for the collection of the returned product. Refunds are processed within 7 days after the item passes the quality check.

Refunds:

Refunds are processed within 7 business days after Avant Garde Middle East receives the returned item and checks it for quality and condition. Prepaid orders are refunded to the original payment method, while cash payment orders are refunded only via online bank transfer. Buyers are liable for any associated costs and fees.

Our evaluation process takes into account the current market value of the product, its condition, the materials used, and its color palette. This comprehensive approach ensures that you receive a valuation that reflects the true worth of your item in today's market.

After our thorough assessment, we present a price range for your product. You then have the flexibility to decide where you wish to position yourself within this range, giving you control and choice in determining the final price

Value Added Tax (VAT):

Beginning 1 January 2018, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) introduced a Value Added Tax (VAT) at a standard rate of 5%. This tax applies to the majority of goods and services supplied from this date onward. Entities and individuals in the UAE must adhere to the new VAT regulations, which include charging VAT, issuing tax invoices, submitting regular VAT returns, and ensuring timely payments to the tax authorities.

In line with the announcement by the KSA Government, the VAT rate was adjusted from 5% to 15% starting 1 July 2020 for Avant Garde.
